About the Work
In “Barcelona, Antigua, Casa Figueras” we are transported into the streets of Barcelona, with Liudmila Kondakova once again introducing us to her rich and colorful technique that compliments city architectures around the world, and transports us into a magical creative world, which we do not wish to leave. The depiction of a storefront window and the parked Vespa outside the store transport us into an old-world beauty that brings in us nostalgia, and the desire to escape. “Barcelona, Antigua, Casa Figueras” is a 24 x 20 - inch hand signed serigraph on linen created in 2002. |
