About the Work

In “Nirvana” Kiki, the snaggle-toothed "unrefined" twin to Kaikai seems to metamorphose into the "beautiful" Kaikai, but still retains a sense of imperfection; it’s as if Kiki went through Seth Brundle's tele-pod and didn't come out quite right on the other side, and yet seems quite happy about it, i.e.: the "recombination" has achieved Nirvana (the perfection of imperfection). “Nirvana” is a 26 x 51.75 – inch hand-signed offset lithograph on paper.
