Artist Profile
François Fressinier
“MY PASSION IS TO PAINT THE HUMAN FIGURE IN ALL OF ITS INTRICACIES OF BEAUTY AND LIFE. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN PURE REALISM, TO HAVE A TOUCH OF MAGIC IN MY WORK IS WHAT I STRIVE FOR.”
François Fressinier (b. 1968) is a French-born painter known for luminous figurative works that blend realism, symbolism, and a touch of magic. His art often centers on the female face, long a timeless subject in art history, but he approaches it in a contemporary way: not as object, but as a portal to inner worlds. His figures may gaze outward, turn in profile, or drift into quiet reflection, inviting viewers to find their own stories in each work.
